Die vorliegende Arbeit geht der Frage nach, wie der Bildungsbereich Ästhetische Bildung im Waldkindergarten umgesetzt wird. Die Neuentfachung der frühpädagogischen Diskussion wurde in den letzten Jahren u.a. durch die Ergebnisse der neurophysiologischen Forschung angetrieben (vgl. Kasten 2003, S. 57). So gewinnt auch die frühkindliche Bildung nicht zuletzt seit der Durchführung von Leistungsvergleichsstudien wie PISA zunehmend an Bedeutung (vgl. Lill/Sporleder 2000, S. 20f). Die allgemeine Vorstellung von dem, was once und wie zu lernen und zu lehren ist, wurde im Folgenden erheblich angetastet (vgl. Rumpf 2005, S. 38). Mit dieser Entwicklung geht auch die Einführung von sogenannten Bildungsplänen einher. In der DDR erfolgte bereits 1952 die Verabschiedung eines verbindlichen Rahmenplans, welcher Ziele und Aufgaben vorschulischer Erziehung formuliert (vgl. Hoffmann 2010, S. 122). Der Beginn dieser Arbeit handelt von der Einführung der Bildungspläne, deren Bedeutung für die Elementarpädagogik vor dem historischen Hintergrund Deutschlands betrachtet wird. Zunächst werden Besonderheiten, Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede in den Bildungsplänen der jeweiligen Bundesländer dargestellt. Dabei liegt mein Hauptaugenmerk auf dem Hessischen Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan für Kinder von zero bis 10 Jahren und dem Bereich der ästhetischen Bildung, welcher in dem Plan im Teil kreative, fantasievolle und künstlerische Kinder behandelt wird. Ausgehend davon widme ich mich im folgenden Teil meiner Thesis der Definition von Ästhetik und ästhetischem Denken . Bezogen auf die Begriffsbestimmungen spielen Voraussetzungen für ästhetische Erfahrungen eine zentrale Rolle, wobei der Fokus auf der Bedeutung ästhetischer Bildungsprozesse in der frühen Kindheit liegt.
